With today’s deal you will journey from Romania’s capital Bucharest to gorgeous towns hidden in the Transylvanian countryside and wonder at the traditional Christmas markets and fairs in each of the destinations. You will also get the chance to visit two of the country’s most iconic landmarks, Peles Castle and Bran Castle, known to many as Dracula’s Castle. Walk around these historic buildings and find yourself transported to another time or another world filled with vampires, werewolves and all the legends they invoke.

After arriving in Bucharest you will be transferred from the airport to your hotel, the Z Executive Boutique Hotel, Rembrandt Hotel or the Z Grand Boutique Hotel. Once you’ve check I you will be greeted with a warm mug of coffee or a relaxing glass of wine before heading out to Bucharest’s Christmas market.

After breakfast you will be transferred to Transylvania via Sinaia where you will visit the marvellous Peles Castle. After your visit you will carry on your journey to the Medieval town of Brasov where you will be staying the night at the Casa Wagner or the Bella Muzica. You’ll have the rest of the afternoon to explore Brasov’s old town which is famous during the festive season for its impressive Christmas tree in the town centre.

After breakfast you will head toward the town of Sibiu, stopping on the way to visit Bran Castle, otherwise knowns as Dracula’s castle. The castle dates back to back to the 13th Century when the Teutons built a fortress on the site of the modern day structure. Thanks to its hilltop location, the forest that surrounds it and its similarities to the castle described in Bram Stoker’s famous novel Dracula it has become somewhat a legendary attraction to visit. After the visit you will carry on to Sibiu where you can walk around the pretty Christmas market and you will be staying at the Huet Residence, the Casa Luxemburg or the The Council.

You will head back through the Transylvanian countryside to Bucharest, stopping off along the way at the Prahova Valley before being dropped at the airport or in Bucharest if you intend to extend your stay.
