Area
The hotel itself is just a short walk from the centre of Mazara del Vallo and quaint Sicilian seaside town which is ripe for exploring. In the heart of the town you will find the Casbah, the old Arab quarter, which is home to typically Arabic-style houses with colourful tiles, mosaics and some traditional middle-eastern restaurants. Continuing your exploration you will also find the Cathedral which dates back to the Norman era and encompasses Romanesque, Baroque and Greek styles in its stunning interiors and architecture. For many people, a visit to Sicily would not be complete without a day trip to its buzzing capital Palermo, plus there is also the Valley of the Temples and Villa Romana del Casale (both UNESCO World Heritage Sites with great international historical importance) which are worth a visit. Safe to say there won’t be a dull moment on the Italian isle!
