Visit the annex in which a young Jewish girl hid with her family, from the Nazis, and wrote the diary famously published after her death. But Amsterdam isn't just a hot spot for history. If you fancy outdoor exploration, why not hire one of the city's many bikes, and take a trip through the canal band, over winding waterways hedged by fabulous architecture?
