Day 1: Delhi - Shahpura Haveli
You'll be picked up from your hotel by your guide and driven in an air-conditioned vehicle to the Mosque, where you’ll enjoy a private tour of the magnificent monument. Next you’ll head to Raj Ghat (the location of Gandhi’s cremation), Qutub Minar and Humayun’s Tomb, a UNESCO World Heritage site. After a jam-packed day of sightseeing, you’ll be driven to Shahpura where you will stay overnight.
Day 2: Shapura - Jaipur
After a delicious breakfast you will be driven straight on to Jaipur where you will stay the night.
Day 3: Jaipur
After enjoying breakfast your private tour guide will whisk you off to the Amber Fort where you will have the opportunity to ride an elephant to the top of the hill, where the fort lies. After learning about the fascinating history of the fort you will venture to the heart of Jaipur and visit the famous City Palace, famed for its unique blend of Rajasthani and Mughal architecture. Look through the fine collections of textiles, costumes and armour at your leisure before visiting the Hawa Mahal, also known as the Palace of Winds. Last but not least on your sightseeing tour you'll head to the stargazing observatory of Jantar Mantar, built by renowned astronomer, Maharaja Jai Singh. You will then retire to your hotel for you second night in Jaipur.
Day 4: Jaipur - Fort Khejarla
After breakfast you will drive to Khejarla where you will spend the night at Fort Khejarla, a stunning 400 year-old monument. Relax in this regal setting, enjoy the impressive red sandstone brickwork, take in its intricate details and allow yourself to be transported back in time.
Day 5: Fort Khejarla - Jodhpur
After enjoying a hearty breakfast at your hotel your guide will take you to Jodhpur. After checking in at your hotel you’ll get the chance to visit Mehrangarh Fort, otherwise known as the Majestic Fort. You will then visit Jaswant Thada, a royal cenotaph crafted out of beautiful white marble. Ater this you will head to Umaid Bhawan Palace, the largest residence in the whole of India. After a non-stop day of sightseeing you’ll be glad to be heading to your hotel in Jodhpur for a restful night’s sleep.
Day 6: Jodhpur - Udaipur
After breakfast you will be driven to Udaipur, upon arrival you can check into your hotel and enjoy the evening at your leisure.
Day 7: Udaipur
Known as the ‘city of sunrise’ Udaipur is a stunning city and the location of your next day of sightseeing. The first stop on your sightseeing your will be Sahelion-Ki-Bari, the Garden of the Maids of Honour. After spending some time in your garden you're free to explore the Museum of Folk Art. Peruse the rich collection of folk dresses, ornaments, puppets, masks, dolls, instruments and paintings, before breaking and heading to City Palace. The biggest palace in India is a sight to behold and contains a museum which houses a multitude of historic paintings depicting Indian mythology. You will then visit a traditional painting school before taking an evening boat ride on Lake Pichola.
Day 8: Udaipur - Pushkar
After breakfast you'll be driven to Pushkar, after checking into the hotel, enjoy sightseeing in this marvellous location. Visit the old temples of the city before returning to the hotel for the evening.
Day 9: Pushkar - Ranthambore
After breakfast you’ll travel to Ranthambore. After arrival you’ll be treated to quite the experience - an afternoon safari to the Ranthmbore National Park. If you're lucky you'll have the chance to see hyenas, cheetahs, jungle cats, panthers and Indian tigers, before heading back to the hotel for the evening.
Day 10: Ranthambore - Agra
After breakfast you will be driven to Agra where you will be spending the night.
Day 11: Agra - Delhi Drop
Saving perhaps the best till last, today you will visit the infamous Taj Mahal! Your guide will show you around, giving you time to admire the monumental symbol of love. Next on the sightseeing agenda is Agra Fort, one of the finest Mughal forts in India. Then it's off to the Itmad-ud-Daulah tomb, the first tomb in India that was made entirely out marble, before heading to Mehtab Bagh. After your day of sightseeing you'll be driven back to Delhi where you will be dropped off at your hotel, before heading to the airport for your journey home.
