Itinerary
Day One – Arrive in Delhi
After landing in Delhi after your overnight flight, you'll be guided you to your hotel where you'll stay for two nights. Once you’ve touched down in your resort, you’re free to spend the rest of the day completely at your leisure. Relax and take in the sights as you wander through India’s vibrant capital!
Day Two - Delhi
Enjoy a leisurely breakfast and proceed on a guided tour of Old Delhi and New Delhi. In Old Delhi, drive past the Red Fort; visit Raj Ghat, the simple but moving memorial to Mahatma Gandhi and Jama Masjid, one of the largest mosques in Asia. A short walk in the narrow bylanes is full of legends and unfolds many historic tales of Shajahanbad. See the quaint shops with incredible wares from food stalls to jewellery – make sure to cover up! Later in the afternoon, get ready to explore imperial Delhi. Drive past the imposing India Gate (War Memorial Arch), Parliament buildings and Rashtrapati Bhawan (the President’s residence). End the tour with a visit to UNESCO World Heritage listed tomb of Emperor Humayun. The tomb was the first garden tomb in the Indian subcontinent, a wonderful example of early Mughal architecture.

Day Three – Delhi to Agra
After the buffet breakfast, drive to the Mughal city of Agra (205kms/approx five hours). On arrival in Agra, check into your hotel for an overnight stay. In the afternoon, you’ll enjoy a guided tour of Agra which includes a visit to the Taj Mahal (closed on Friday), built by Emperor Shah Jahan in the 17th century as a mausoleum for his wife Mumtaz Mahal, a masterpiece in marble and one of the world’s most famous landmarks.

Day Four – Agra to Ranthambore via Fatehpur Sikri
Enjoy a buffet breakfast and proceed on a drive to Ranthambore (255kms/approx seven hours). En route visit Akbar’s abandoned capital, Fatehpur Sikri, a World Heritage Site. On arrival in Ranthambore, check-in to the hotel for two nights. The rest of the day you’re free to spend at your own leisure! Enjoy a scrumptious dinner at the hotel in the evening.

Day Five – Ranthambore
Wake up early today to undertake an experience you’ll never forget, a thrilling jungle safari in open top canters through Ranthambore National Park. Drive to the dense jungle of Ranthambore for tiger tracking and bird watching accompanied by a naturalist. The scrub woodlands of Ranthambore were the erstwhile hunting reserve of Maharajas of Jaipur. Today, it is a sanctuary for India’s exotic wildlife, and famous for spotting the majestic predator, the tiger. The park is also home to a large variety of other animals, including sambar deer, panthers, marsh crocodiles, jungle cats, civets, wild boar, sloth bears and leopards, as well as being a birdwatcher’s delight with more than 250 species of birds nesting there. Afterwards, return to the hotel for breakfast.

Day Six – Ranthambore to Jaipur
In the morning, enjoy a buffet breakfast at the hotel and proceed on a drive to the royal city of Jaipur (160kms/four hours approx). On arrival in Jaipur, check into the hotel for two nights. The evening is free for individual activities.

Day Seven – Jaipur
Straight after another mouth-watering breakfast, proceed for a tour of the fabulous hilltop citadel of Amber Fort, en route taking a photo-stop at Hawa Mahal, a five-storied wonder with a spectacular pyramidal facade. Located at the top of a hill, Amber Fort offers a spectacular view of the old town below, where Akbar stopped en route on his annual pilgrimage to Ajmer.

Day Eight – Jaipur to Delhi
Enjoy a leisurely breakfast at the hotel. Check-out and proceed on your drive to Delhi (260kms/approx six hours) and upon arrival Delhi transfer to international airport to board flight for your onward journey.
