Programmes

  • Circuit training
    Suitable for men and women of all fitness levels, these sessions begin with a pulse check and aerobic warm-up, followed by a variety of exercises. Some exercises are equipment-based, while others use your own body weight, and the session is focused on your core muscles. They finish off with a cool-down including Pilates-based exercises and developmental stretching. See the timetable here.

  • Pilates mat-work
    These sessions are largely based on a mat, using your own body weight, making it suitable for anyone of any age or ability. Pilates focuses on improving flexibility, posture and balance by strengthening your core. The Core Studio trainers can assess your needs and advise you on which exercises will help you the most - they'll even give you some to do whilst you're at work or at home! See the timetable here.

  • Pilates reformer
    The reformer classes use specialised machines for resistance-based exercises designed to improve muscle tone. They are suitable for beginner to advanced levels, with an aim to build strength and balance.
