Discover the exciting sport of hurling, which is truly unique to Ireland! In this hands-on experience, you will be immersed in the spirit and culture of the world’s oldest field sport. With all hurleys, sliotars and helmets supplied, you will get coaching from passionate and friendly coaches, before having a practice of the game in the field! This exhilarating sport promises serious fun, lots of laughs and great memories. There’s a reason UNESCO recently recognised hurling as a “unique and intangible cultural experience”.

During your experience, you will also learn about the sport's rich history from audio visual materials, plus you’ll get snacks and drinks provided. Included in the deal is a return bus trip from Dublin City to the Kilcullen venue, or you are welcome to make your own way there using your own transport. The experience runs on Saturdays and Sundays. Are you ready for this?!

The Fine Print

  • One voucher per pair, group of three or four (2 adults and one or two children).

  • Weather friendly – we have both indoor and outdoor facilities.
  • Bus pick up is from Guinness Storehouse every Sat and Sun at 11.30am, or if you have your own transport you can travel to the Kilcullen venue for a 12pm start.
  • Return drop off to Guinness Storehouse is at 3.50pm.
  • Cannot be used in conjunction with any other offer.
