Christmas Markets Mystery Holiday deal offers the customer a chance to purchase a holiday from £99pp to an unknown destination. Customers have the chance to win destinations worldwide including New York, Chicago, Toronto & Lapland.

Definitions

In these terms and conditions:

Christmas Markets Mystery Holiday refers to the deal customer has purchased to receive a holiday to an unknown destination including flights and accommodation.

Holiday promoter refers to Wowcher Limited, 69 Dalston Lane, Hackney, London, E8 2NG.

Holiday provider refers to the ATOL protected tour operator indicated on the Christmas Markets Mystery Holiday deal purchased.

Order refers to the total number of vouchers purchased by one customer in the same name. Draw refers to the destinations allocated to customers.

Entering the Christmas Markets Mystery Holiday Draw

Christmas Markets Mystery Holiday is open to UK, Channel Islands and Isle of Man residents aged 18 years or over.

By purchasing the Christmas Markets Mystery Holiday customers are deemed to accept and are bound by the terms and conditions of the holiday promoter and holiday provider.

Christmas Markets Mystery Holiday is based on two adults sharing, and therefore customers must purchase two vouchers to qualify for the £99pp rate advertised.

Customers are welcome to purchase a single voucher however a single supplement fee will be advised at the time of booking with the holiday provider. Customers who purchase a single voucher do not qualify to receive tier 1 or tier 2 holidays (outlined further below) this includes but not limited to New York, Chicago, Washington, Toronto and Lapland. Customers will be drawn another destination at random.

Customers are also welcome to purchase three or more vouchers however customers who plan to travel with three or more passengers under the same itinerary do not qualify to receive tier 1 or tier 2 holidays (outlined further below) this includes but not limited to New York, Chicago, Washington, Toronto and Lapland. Customers will be drawn another destination at random.

Passengers travelling under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult (18 years or over). Passengers travelling under the age of 18 are charged at the same rate as a paying adult.

There is no maximum number of vouchers that any one person may obtain.

How to enter the Christmas Markets Mystery Holiday draw

To enter the Christmas Markets Mystery Holiday draw customers can visit the link below, select preferred travel dates, and number of vouchers (passengers) they would like to purchase. Once purchased the customer will receive their voucher codes, along with a link for redemption. Customers must redeem their vouchers as soon as possible using the link provided. Customers will be asked to complete information relevant to their holiday booking. Customers who do not complete the redemption process within 28 days of the draw date will not be entitled to a refund.

Christmas Markets Mystery Holiday draw selection & notification

Christmas Markets Mystery Holiday destinations (outlined below) are drawn at random based on the customers preferred travel dates, as provided by the customer within the redemption process.

Every order made online or through the app, subject to eligibility and compliance with all applicable terms and conditions, will receive one holiday from the list of holidays outlined further below. Holidays are drawn at random from among all eligible entries received.

The Christmas Markets Mystery Holiday draw is based on 2000 holidays (4000 vouchers/passengers). For the avoidance of doubt, due to the nature of the draw, if the deal does not sell out and fewer than 2000 holidays (4000 vouchers/passengers) are purchased, there is no guarantee as to which holiday will be assigned to customers as the holiday allocated will be drawn at random. Alternatively, if the Christmas Markets mystery holiday should sell more than 2000 holidays (4000 vouchers/passengers), purchases after the initial 2000 holidays (4000 vouchers/passenger) will be entered into a separate draw.

A new draw will commence every 4 weeks.

The Christmas Markets Mystery Holiday deal is sold across multiple websites and therefore the number of vouchers sold will reflect the total number sold across all websites.

The holiday provider will aim to contact all customers within 5 working days from the date and time they completed the redemption process. From time to time this deal receives a high level of demand and waiting times can increase to 10 working days.

Customers will be contacted via text message, telephone and email as provided within the redemption information. Customers are advised to check their voicemail and email junk folders for communication from the holiday provider. Where the holiday provider can provide evidence, they have tried to contact the customer within the timeframe outlined above, the customer will not be entitled to any refund.

Holiday Inclusions & Restrictions

Each customer will receive one holiday per order made online or through the app from the list of holidays outlined further below. Holidays are based on two adults sharing.

Each customer will receive hotel accommodation and return economy flights.

Airport options are grouped as follows:

London: Heathrow, Gatwick, Luton, Stansted, City & Southend

Scotland: Edinburgh, Glasgow & Glasgow Prestwick

North East: Newcastle & Middlesborough

North West: Manchester & Liverpool

Yorkshire: Leeds Bradford

Midlands: Birmingham & East Midlands

Wales: Cardiff

South West: Bristol and Southampton

Northern Ireland: Belfast

During the redemption process customers can select their airport group and travel date availability will be displayed based on their selection. Customers accept that flights can be allocated from any one of the airports selected within the group.

Due to limited flight departures, regional airports have limited availability and customer may incur a fee of up to £40pp, this is paid directly to the merchant. Cost will be confirmed with the customer at the time of booking.

Holidays are valid on selected flights only; further charges may apply for alternative flights. Customers can choose to adjust flights based on their own preferences however this is subject to availability and may incur an additional charge. Final costs will be provided to the customer at the final stage of booking with the holiday provider.

Airlines included are at the sole discretion of the holiday provider and may include a stopover of up to 6 hours for long haul flights. Airline information will be provided to the customer at the time of booking. All flights include basic hand luggage; customers are advised to check with the flight provider for specific weight and size restrictions.

Hotel accommodation included is a minimum 3-star rating. Hotel accommodation is based on double occupancy. Customers who have purchased a single voucher will incur single supplement charges. Customers who have purchased three or more vouchers to travel on the same itinerary may incur further charges for larger occupancy rooms or additional rooms required.

Where possible the holiday provider will always try to accommodate 40 hours in resort for two-night stays and 60 hours in resort for three-night stays. Due to flight schedules to destination, this cannot always be possible. In any case if the customer has agreed to flight times with the holiday provider that do not match those times in resort and booking confirmation has been issued, the customer is not entitled to a refund. The holiday promoter and holiday provider cannot be held accountable for flight delays or cancellations, which affect time in resort.

Holiday destinations to be awarded may not be identical to those depicted which are intended to be only representative.

Travel Dates

Customers who have purchased £99pp will travel within the following dates: 15th November until 22nd December 2024.

During the redemption process customers will be able to select their preferred departure airport group location which will display a calendar of availability. Customers should be prepared to travel within the travel dates as per their purchased price outlined above. Customers will not be entitled to a refund for any reason relating to their preferred travel dates.

Booking your Holiday

Once the customer has purchased their Christmas Markets Mystery holiday voucher, they must complete the redemption process to confirm their holiday booking. Once the customer enters the redemption process, they will no longer be entitled to a refund.

During the redemption process, customers will be asked to select their preferred airport departure location and travel date. After this stage customers will need to complete their passenger information as per passport. Once completed, customers will then receive their holiday destination information. Customers will also receive the opportunity to change their destination for an additional fee.

Once all these details have been confirmed, customers will be presented with a confirmation page which will then share the details provided with the merchant to book their holiday. The merchant will be in contact within 5 to 10 working days of the redemption to confirm the final details of flights and offer any opportunities to change their holiday preferences.

After the customer has confirmed their holiday with the holiday provider, they will now be subject to the holiday providers terms and conditions. The holiday providers terms and conditions will be issued to customers with booking confirmation.

Holiday destinations will be allocated to each customer based on their travel preferences including departure date and departure airport within the tier level drawn. This is based on the redemption information provided by the customer. Customers could be allocated any destination listed within the tier level. Duration varies depending on destination allocated.

Once the customer has agreed to the terms and conditions and entered the redemption process for Christmas Markets Mystery Holiday, they will not be entitled to a refund on the basis they do not wish to travel to the destination drawn. Customers will be able to change their destination for an additional fee.

Christmas Market dates are subject to local government restrictions, dates/times can be changed or cancelled without prior notice. The holiday will become a standard holiday/break if Christmas Markets are cancelled at the destination.

In the event customers are unable to travel to the destination listed above due to a change in foreign office advice, customers will be provided an alternative destination within the same tier of the destination drawn.

Further Terms & Conditions

The below terms and conditions are applicable for all purchases of the Christmas Markets Mystery Holiday deal.

For the avoidance of doubt, all elements of the holiday including flights and hotel must be booked at the same time. The holiday may not be sold, traded, transferred, exchanged for cash (unless at the sole discretion of the holiday promoter or holiday provider) or rescheduled to dates not within the travel dates listed above. The customer will be responsible for any itinerary change fees and cancellation once the holiday is booked with the holiday provider (2).

It is the responsibility of the customer to ensure that they and their companion(s) are available to take the holiday on the relevant dates.

The customer and their companion(s) must hold a current and valid passport and any other relevant travel documentation required for travel to and enter the holiday destination and to ensure that they and their companion(s) adhere to the visa entry requirements of their holiday destination. Passports must be valid for travel with a minimum of six months on the date of departure from the UK when taking up the trip. It is the responsibility of the customer to (i) organize and pay costs associated with obtaining visas for themselves and their companion(s) (ii) ensure that themselves and their companion(s) are adequately insured including without limitation covering overseas medical costs, and (iii) ensure that themselves and their companion(s) adhere to the travel itinerary and other relevant safety instructions as set out by the holiday provider.

It is the responsibility of the customer to inform the holiday provider of any wheelchair or similar access requirements for the customer and/or their companion(s) when taking up the prize, and to adhere to any applicable health and safety guidelines.

It is the responsibility of the customer to ensure that they and/or their companion(s) adhere to the visa entry requirements of their holiday destination. It is the responsibility of the customer to adhere to the local laws in their holiday destination. Particular attention should be given to the travel advice. https://www.gov.uk/foreign-travel-advice

In the event the customers holiday should be affected by a change in foreign office advice, the customer should seek advice from the holiday provider as to how their holiday is affected and discuss alternative travel arrangements. If foreign office advice should advise against all but essential travel to the customers holiday destination the customer will be entitled to a full refund for the voucher cost from the holiday promoter and any additional purchases from the holiday provider. Customers will not be entitled to a refund if the foreign office advises it is safe to travel to destination.

In the event the customers holiday should be affected by a flight schedule change the customer will be provided with a suitable alternative. A suitable alternative would include a flight time change within 12 hours of the original flight time, from the same airport but could include a change of airline. Where the new schedule time is not within this period the customer will be entitled to a full refund. Schedule changes can affect time in resort, where possible the holiday provider will always try to accommodate 40 hours in resort for two night stays and 60 hours in resort for 3 night stays. Due to flight schedules to destination, this cannot always be possible. In any case if the customer has agreed to flight times with the holiday provider that do not match those times in resort and booking confirmation has been issued the customer is not entitled to a refund. The holiday promoter (B) and holiday provider (C) cannot be held accountable for flight delays or cancellations, which affect time in resort.

Where a customers hotel accommodation cannot be fulfilled for any reason the customer will be provided with an equivalent hotel of the same standard.

The holiday excludes ground transport to and from the airport in the UK, airport lounges, fast track airport security, local resort taxes or fees, meals and drinks (other than those specified above), excursions, attractions, treatments, car hire, travel insurance, personal expenses, checked baggage, gratuities, visas, vaccinations and any other charges and items not otherwise described above.

Lost or stolen tickets, travel vouchers or certificates or similar items will not be replaced once they are in the customers possession.

Customers are entitled to a change of mind refund within 14 days of their purchase date before the redemption process has taken place. Once redemption of the voucher has taken place customers will no longer be entitled to a change of mind refund.

By entering the Christmas Markets mystery holiday draw, you agree the holiday provider may contact you via email, phone, and mail in connection with the holiday draw in accordance with Wowchers privacy policy.
