Fantastic, affordable hotel Fantastic, clean hotel. We stayed in a business suite, so the room was spacious, fresh bedding and towels and tea and coffee! Super friendly staff but one girl stood out the most, Rahwa! What a girl! So helpful and nice, she's the reason we actually booked again!

Annual reunion The hotel was very good value for money. The room was comfy and clean, the location was central with easy access, and the breakfast was excellent and cooked to order. The only small hitch was the online booking system implied that the payment had been taken in advance whereas it was actually payment on arrival. This led to some confusion when checking in.

Delectable Dinner at Decent Price Went to the recently commenced dinner service at SMH with my family. Limited menu, yet varied choices. Food and service was excellent. Attentive staff, got our order correct and brought the food out in good time. The chicken curry with mini nan and rice was the star dish of the night. The sticky toffee and ice creamdessert was better than what most pricier restaurants serve. Full marks to the wonderful team at Sheffield Metropolitan Hotel. The change of ownership at this place really seems to have turned things around. A definite recommendation for decent dinner at decent price.
