Product Features
- Banana trees: Get a set of two ‘musa basjoo’ banana trees.
- Impressive plant: Featuring large architectural green leaves, and can begin flower in the spring and produce fruit after three years.
- Winter hardy: Musa Basjoo is the hardiest banana plant there is – it can be planted outdoors all year round!*
- Fully grown size: In the most ideal circumstances, the banana plant can grow to a height of up to 4 metres width a width of 150cm.
- Care: The plant grows best in a sunny spot in a nutritious, well-drained soil. They can be planted in full soil, or kept in a tub. They don’t need pruning, and will need a lot of water from April to September.
- Supplied: The trees will arrive in pots with a total height of 25-40cm – ideal to begin growing a lush tropical-look garden.

- * With a little protection to the stem it can survive every winter. During winter, the leaves and top of the stem will freeze and die but the tree will grow back very fast in spring. If the plants are in a pot, they can also be brought inside in winter and they will continue to grow all winter.
- *The leaves are unfortunately prone to strong winds. In strong winds leaves can tear and break.
- Supplied as 25-40cm tall plants in 9cm pots (pot included in height measurement).
