Lovely building with plenty of history. The staff were all very friendly, helpful and informative in Reception, Room cleaners, spa and gym area and the lovely lady keeping the ' Fables ' staircase wood carvings in beautiful condition,and the bar and dining staff ( who dealt with an incident quietly courteously and professionally).
The food was good quality and my husband was Very happy with the great breakfast, the
selection and quality.

We had a lovely time this was very good value for money, we added a birthday balloon package to the room and spritz drink package in the room. The hotel bar was lovely, staff were very helpful, breakfast was fresh and plenty of choice. The room was spacious and spotlessly clean overall this was a lovely stay.

Superb hotel and spa was amazing. Given an upgrade without even asking and thorougly enjoyed the whole stay. Went to the spa both days and meal in the brasserie was gorgeous. Free glass of prosecco in the terrace and enjoyed it so much booked again for next month.

My only fault as I loved our stay and will definitely be back. But matress was unbelievably soft and we were given disabled room with shower not a bath.
