Nice room and clean. The front desk guy was helpful after a mix up with booking.
Breakfast was nice but could have been better with fried eggs option instead of powered eggs. For that price we expected better.
But again service and staff were friendly enough. In general a very nice place to stay and beautiful grounds.

The approach through the grounds of the manor was lovely - a great start. Hotel itself was good - we paid for the privilege room which was well appointed. What spoiled the stay was paying for the package which included dinner. It was very poor value, as I had pate to start and chicken to follow, which carried a ridiculous £10 surcharge, making it more expensive than if I'd just eaten a la carte. The food was unremarkable... Chicken with chips+ a mushroom and a tomato, but it was crying out for a cream sauce or something. And to be charged over £30 for a very mediocre bottle of Romanian wine was an insult. Breakfast next was very good though!
