Your day will begin with a 9.30am pick up from Belfast city centre, where you’ll embark through the beautiful Antrim Coastal Road en route to adventure and if you are a fan, you’ll discover popular landmarks from the tv series’ ‘Game of Thrones’. Your first stop of the day will be at Carrickfergus Castle, where you’ll have plenty of time to take photographs. This 12th-century Norman castle is one of the best preserved medieval castles in Ireland, and steeped in history including where King William III first set foot in Ireland in 1690. Next up you'll drive-by the popular filming location Magheramorne Quarry, which for any GoT fans, you might recognise as 'Game of Thrones' The Wall itself!

It’s then time to hop back on board your coach, meandering through the breath-taking views of the Glens of Antrim and the Irish Sea. You'll pass through several quaint coastal villages, including Carnlough, where GoT lovers will remember that the picturesque harbour was the very place where Arya Stark swam to escape The Waif of Braavos. As you continue, you'll climb Glencorp and get to cross the Glendun Viaduct Bridge, before heading to the top of Glen Dun and descending into the town of Ballycastle, home to 400-year-old ‘Ould Lammas Fair’. After stopping for lunch, you'll get to visit the old quarry of Larrybane, featuring Carrick a Rede, a ‘death defying’ rope bridge you’ll be able to cross - at your own risk, of course!

The main star of the day is the mythical wonder of Giant’s Causeway! This infamous world heritage site is a must-see geological phenomenon. Gaze in awe at the inexplicable hexagonal-shaped stones, standing at an estimated yet staggering 62-65 million years old! Your final stop of the day will be a quick photo stop at the impressive Dark Hedges - the avenue of beech trees that have formed an atmospheric tunnel. Then, it’s time to head on back to Belfast with a memory card full of fantastic images and a heart full of golden memories!
